Set in the universe of the Dwarves comic series and utilizing the acclaimed Nidavellir gameplay mechanics, Dwarves of Aquilon challenges you to unite a fractured people . Once united under an emperor, the dwarves are now divided into rival fortress-states . As a Lord, your goal is to recruit the most skilled dwarves and the bravest Fighters to assert your dominance over the lands of Arran.

Strategic Coin-Building Gameplay To build the most powerful army, you must bid on dwarf cards in the taverns. Success relies on a unique "Coin Building" system:

• Bidding: Simultaneously place coins on taverns to determine the pick order.
• Upgrading: Strategically trade your lower-value coins for higher-value gold from the Royal Treasury to increase your future purchasing power.

Assemble the Five Orders You must gather ranks from the five dwarven Orders: The Forge, The Retaliation, The Temple, The Shield, and the outcast Order of the Wanderers.

• Recruit Heroes: By completing a row of ranks containing one dwarf from each Order, you trigger the recruitment of powerful Hero Fighters to join your cause.
• Two Eras of Play: The game spans two Eras, where you must adapt your strategy to the changing availability of recruits.

Victory: At the end of the second Era, the Lord who has gathered the most prestigious army and achieved the highest Bravery value wins the game and reigns over the region.
